How children are participating

Shows use comedy, magic tricks and role play to create wonder, enthusiasm, and engagment around the important learning topics and outcomes.

VEYLDF Learning Outcomes

Children have a strong sense of identity when they explore and engage with the topics of the environment by identifying and explaining their own personal experiences within their home and their feelings and ideas around improving the environment.
Children are connected with and contribute to their world, when they understand the interdependence between, land, people, plants and animals and seeing the characters caring for the land and respecting the natural environment in order to benefit everyone.
Children have a strong sense of wellbeing when they have an increased awareness of healthy lifestyles and good nutrition.
Children are confident and involved learners when they express and describe their thoughts to others about the environment and how it makes them feel by using their imagination through play and creativity.
Children are effective communicators when they Dance and move to music to express ideas and engage with the characters by acting out roles within the show.

Our girls, their friends and all the kinder kids had an amazing time at Charlie’s performance at Taralye – the oral language centre for deaf children! Incredibly patient, kind and hilarious. Thankyou so much x

Thank you for the extremely funny, thoroughly engaging and thoughtful shows you performed at our centre in the past weeks. Not only did it have the children laughing but more importantly they are still talking about it. All of your performances reflected the Early Years Learning Framework and were very educational. Every child participated in all facets of singing, dancing and acting and your ability to listen and respect their questions was impressive. I would highly recommend these shows to anyone in early learning.
